Teaching Schools have a strong professional learning culture that contributes to the high level of achievement of pupils. TETSA works closely with each of our alliance schools and our strategic partners to provide a range of professional development opportunities for teachers and support staff. TETSA is able to draw on a wide range of experience and expertise from teachers and specialist practitioners in schools across the alliance. We have the skills and knowledge to deliver bespoke or generic taught programmes as well as coaching and peer-to-peer support.
Our Primary NQT Development Programme includes sessions covering areas of development that NQTs have identified themselves. These sessions are delivered by a range of experts and include opportunities to work with experienced colleagues in a different school context.
TETSA is fully committed to supporting all teachers in the early stages of their career and beyond.
Retaining the very best practitioners within our profession is part of our moral purpose. We offer a personalised CPD programme for RQTs.
Identifying and developing leaders at all stages with the potential to progress along school leadership pathways is another of our key focuses as a teaching school alliance. Once potential leaders are identified, we use a blend of appropriate training, mentoring and coaching to support them as they develop and refine their skills. At TETSA we are committed to finding the next generation of leaders who will relentlessly pursue outstanding outcomes for children. We offer the NPQML and NPQSL programmes.
